1. About Pawspitality

Pawspitality is an online platform that allows travellers to discover and book pet-friendly hotels across Europe. We act as an intermediary between you (the guest) and the participating hotels (each, a "Property"). The booking agreement is formed directly between you and the Property; Pawspitality is not a party to that contract.

2. Eligibility & account

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate, current and complete information, including valid pet details when required.

3. Bookings and payments

• Prices are displayed in the currency you select; the final charge is taken in the Property's default currency (EUR unless stated otherwise).
• Payment is processed securely by our payment partner (Stripe). By confirming a booking, you authorise the charge of the total amount displayed.
• A confirmation email will be sent to the address on your account. Keep it as proof of reservation.
• Pet fees displayed per night are collected on behalf of the Property; additional fees for damages or extra services may apply on-site.

4. Cancellations & modifications

Each Property sets its own cancellation policy, visible on the listing and in your confirmation email. Unless otherwise noted, cancellations made more than 48 hours before check-in may be eligible for a full refund; later cancellations may incur the first night's charge or the full stay. Modifications are subject to availability. No-shows are typically non-refundable.

5. Pet policy

• You must declare the type, size and number of pets during booking.
• Pets must be well-socialised, vaccinated and registered according to European travel rules (including EU Pet Passport where applicable).
• You are liable for any damage or disturbance caused by your pet during the stay.
• Properties retain the right to refuse entry if the declared pet information is materially inaccurate.

6. Reviews & user content

You may submit reviews after a stay. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience and must not contain offensive, defamatory or unlawful content. We reserve the right to moderate, hide or remove reviews that violate these Terms or any applicable law.

7. Liability

Pawspitality takes reasonable care to provide accurate information, but we do not warrant that Property descriptions are error-free. Our liability is limited to the amount of the booking in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, nor for the acts or omissions of third-party Properties or service providers.

8. Intellectual property

All content on Pawspitality (logos, design, editorial text, illustrations, "The Royal Pet Club" and "Pawspitality" wordmarks) is protected by intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute any content without written permission.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction where The Royal Pet Club is established. Consumer rights under EU legislation remain unaffected.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, commercial or operational changes. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
